These sessions aim to enhance and improve the health of people with Parkinson’s disease. Dance and exercise has proven benefits such as improving posture, stability, strength and balance. Their social nature helps to reduce isolation and improve mental health and well-being. The sessions also use dance styles such as contemporary, creative, ballroom and ballet that appeal to the group and improve their skills.

Carers are encouraged to join in and also benefit from the exercise and social nature of the classes.

There is optional time at the end of the session for informal, supportive conversation and socialising.
