Dance for people with Parkinson's disease

The aims of these classes is to enhance and improve the health of people with Parkinson’s disease. Dance and exercise has proven benefits such as improving posture, stability, strength and balance. The social nature of the classes reduce isolation and improve the mental health and well-being. 

The classes use contemporary and creative dance, ballroom and ballet with exercises in a circe and partner work. Carers are encouraged to join in and also benefit from the exercise and social nature of the classes. 

Refreshments are served afterwards offering a time for supportive  conversation for both participants and carers. 

Mondays: 1-2pm

Cost: £4.50, including refreshments afterwards (tea/coffee/biscuits)

Thursdays: 12.45-2.15pm
St.Mildred’s Parish Church, 30 Bingham Road, Addiscombe, CR0 7EB
Cost: £5, including refreshments afterwards (tea/coffee/biscuits)
